I'm looking for written documentation that supports or denies the use of a medical doctor to bill for HCPCs level II procedure code A0170 as well as all other Ambulance Transport and supply codes by a medical doctor. We have rec'd a bill by a medical doctor who is using this code in addition to his/her E/M code. We need supporting documentation in order to process the bill appropriately.
