Wiki medical dx vs treating dx

Is there a difference between a medical diagnosis and a treating diagnosis or do these terms mean the same? I know there is a difference between an admitting dx and the principal dx IE patient has stomach pain after study dr determines patient having gastritis. admitting dx is stomach pain and principal is gastritis.
