Hi,
A patient with right knee pain was diagnosed to have osteoarthritis by orthopedic doctor. He insists even if pain is on one knee X-ray should be taken for both knees since its osteoarthritis. Does it meet Medical necessity? If yes how to give CPT code for both knee X-ray lateral and axial views(modifier cannot be used in Dubai)?
