Our practice's software doesn't have an embedded Encoder to help with medical necessity. What is the best free website to use for approved diagnosis for certain CPT codes? I've looked on the CMS website. It is very hard to navigate. Thanks

Good morning, I'd be more than happy to answer your question. Depending on your geographical location, I would suggest that you review your local Medicare administrative contractors (MAC) website and focus on local coverage determinations (LCD). On their website, you are able to input CPT codes into the search engine and it will provide you with the appropriate LCD. Below, I have included a link to my MAC.
