medical office transition to urgent care too

We would like to change our primary practice to urgent care.
hours are 8-8 M-F. sat 9-3
We are currently billing office ( 11 ) for MD-family practice.
To do the change will I need a new corporation or will I be able to add another
scope of practice ( Taxonomy) under the same tax ID under the NPPES website ( clinic/center - urgent care )
Do I have to do a New contract for Place of service (20 )with all insurance carriers ? :)
 
I would say yes. contracts for office may allow/disallow for some services or payment rate and vice versa for UC. Many carriers pay a global code for UC where it would be paid separately in the office setting. Hope this helps.
