What is the time limit for keeping medical records including tests in New York?

7 years from the last date of service - if under 18, year of majority plus 3 (or 7 years whichever is longer). Although many places keep records for 10 years because medicare can audit up to 10 years.

It depends what type of facility you are (title 10 or title 18 - the regs are the same but if you want to reference the actual code)
