Hi! When using the medical team conference codes, is anyone clear on if the 3 disciplines all need to be a part of the same group? For example, I have an Occupational Therapist and Speech Therapist in a team conference along with a Nurse Case manage from a different company. Would the case manager count as the third discipline in order for this to be a billable event?

They do not have to work for the same company, however, no one can bill that is part of the hospital and is contractually provided by the hospital (if this is regarding inpatient).

99367 is billable by the physician. Other non-physician practitioners use 99368.

What about outpatient setting where a group of interdisciplinary doctors under the same TIN meet, discuss cases affecting treatment plan(s) etc.... Could they bill this (of course under only 1 principal doctor)?
