We are a Medicare-participating provider. However, there are Medicare Advantage plans that we do not participate with (i.e. Humana). If a patient with one of those advantage plans wants to come to our office and pay out of pocket (assuming they have no OON benefits), are we able to charge them out of pocket at 100% of Medicare's fee schedule? If we did that, are we still able to charge non-Medicare patients with plans we don't participate with 100% of our fees, or would we have to treat everyone the same across the board and only charge Medicare fees?
