Is there any way to bill 80100 with modifier 90 and get reimbursed? There is no G code for it. It is a send out so we need the 90 modifier yet Medicare continually comes back with a denial for improper use of modifier. We can't just not use the modifier as we are an independent lab but send the drug screens out to another lab.

The method is Semi-Quantitative Immunoassay/Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry and so the two G codes do not fit.

Thank you for any help you can offer. :)
