Hello, I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction here...

One of my surgeons saw an in-patient in the hospital and performed surgery. He also provided one of our neutral wedges (L3670). This was not the hospital's supply, but our own. Long story short, we billed medicare and were denied the charge. Medicare states that "this DME is not payable during an inpatient stay".

I would love to find a guideline or any documentation that I can, so I can take it and show it to my provider. I have been all over Noridian's web site, but just can't find what I am looking for.
