Hi, have anyone encountered any reimbursement problem with coding Arterial Duplex? I'm having quite a challenge in regards of which diagnosis Medicare accepts. They don't accept pain codes , M79.604 /M79.605 anymore, and same for swelling codes. Has anyone experienced same problem? Need some advise...

Looking at an LCD i found via Google w/ ICD-9 codes (that has been valid a few years) and most of the covered ones are fractures, dislocations, crushing injuries, contusions, atherosclerosis, embolisms, thrombosis, aneurysms. Don't see anything about pain.
