Wiki Medicare Denials

I have several denials from Medicare (Ohio) for CPT 51798 as an outpatient procedure. The denial is stating: Treatment Admin in Invalid POS.

The diagnosis is a valid diagnosis for the procedure, N40.1.

Any input??

51798 is a technical component only code - in an outpatient facility setting it would have to be billed by the facility on the UB form. There is no professional component to this code so there would be no reimbursement for any facility POS.
