Hi, We have a nurse practitioner in our office that saw a patient 2 days ago for a new problem. The doctor was not in the office so we billed it under the nurse practitioner's npi, the patient came back today because she is still having the same problem. She again saw the nurse practitioner. I think we should bill this under the np's npi even though the doctor is in the office today. Am I correct?
