Can anyone tell me why my employer is telling me that we cannot bill Medicare for any lab tests other than CBC, Creatinine and PT/INR? This is a very busy specialty office. If we draw anything other than the above, we no charge them.

Just doesn't make sense to me.

I cannot get an intelligent answer from them. I went to the CMS website and found a list of labs they pay for.
