I have a question how to bill a Medicare papsmear with an office visit. Patient came in for f/u on medications etc, and then was due for a papsmear (had ASCUS pap over 1.5 yrs ago) I know I need the E&M level for the medication f/u ,but how can I bill for the papsmear portion ? Q0091 with the ASCUS code? I'd appreciate any assistance.
