Wiki Medicare Part A and B Coverage

Outpatient dialysis is covered by Medicare as a Part B benefit. The facility claims are submitted on a UB form so will be processed and paid by the Part A administrator even though they are a Part B benefit. The physician claims for dialysis services are submitted to and paid by the Part B carrier as are all other physician claims.

Thank you. Because it's submitted on an UB form I thought it fell under the Part A benefits.
