Medicare post cataract. benefit for dme lenses/contacts. Patient purchases 4 units (boxes) of contacts for right eye. Do I bill 1 unit for the RT eye with total billed equaling 4 boxes? LCD doesn't refence units, only RT and LT

I believe they'll only cover contacts when the patient is aphakic, not if they're psedophakic. Since, to my knowledge, there are not any disposable contacts in the +12 or higher range, I'm assuming the patient is pseduophakic. Therefore, the patient should pay for those contacts out of pocket.
