Can anyone answer a question for me please. Traditional Medicare states that lab specimens drawn in clinic and sent to a reference lab must be billed by the reference lab. Do these same rules exist for Medicare replacement plans or is the clinic free to bill the replacement plan just like a commercial insurance plan?
