Melanoma of the breast, excision

My surgeon is doing an excision of a biopsy proven melanoma lesion on the breast. the excision extends down into the subQ. He wants to bill a lumpectomy. but my understanding is melanoma is a lesion of cutaneous origin and should be coded as excision of a malignant skin lesion of the trunk 11600 -11606. Is there any definitive guidance on excision of melanoma of the breast? Has anyone else coded a similar excision?

With the information you have provided I went to lesion, breast, then excision and it takes me to 19120. Hope this helps.
