Hello everyone, I am struggling to find a icd 10 for when a psychiatrist sees a patient in the hospital for a Mental Health Capacity Evaluation. Any ideas?

I d use one of the dx blocks of R45-R46 describing documented conditions, then add F99 Mental Illness NOS or dx F09 or F06.31 or F54 if supported. Also if pt symptom is depressing F32 or F34 dx block add the assessment tool used. Some behavior health assessment tools are suicide SSRS , depression PHQ9 and ADHD use CPT 96127 if documented this done too. I'd end claim with Z dx code of Z13.30 according to type of mental illness or Encounter for depression is Z13.89 if this applies
