Wiki Mental health diagnosis

Hello,

I need help coding for behavioral health and associated conditions. I work for a psychiatric clinic that provides services to those that have intellectual disabilities. The psychiatrist states that the patient has a diagnosis due to/secondary to another condition.

Here are two different examples:
Mood disorder secondary to brain injury with mixed features (S06.9X0S and F06.34) or
Mild Intellectual Disability due to traumatic brain injury (S06.9X0S and F70)

Is the coding above correct? We do not have any other information on the TBI or brain injury.

F06.34 states to first list the dx for the underlying physiological condition. In general mental health dx states to code first the associated physical or developmental disorders.
