When it says Metastatic carcinoma of the bronchus, is that referring to the bronchus as the secondary site with an unknown primary??

Pretty sure that you are correct. Either unknown or unspecified primary. You might try querying the provider if noone else has anything to add.

I've seen it interpreted both ways as both a primary lung cancer that is metastatic and also other times as metastatic unknown primary to the bronchus. If there is no context, query the physician.
