The surgeon did a Metatarsal Osteotomy on the left second metatarsal, but the only DX is mentioned was "stretched out and attenuated plantar plate". I have no idea what ICD-10 code to use. Can anyone help?

Thanks so much!

M21.6X2 - other acquired deformities of left foot. There may be no visible deformity until the toe starts to cross over towards the hallux but you would be able to see subluxation of the 2nd MTP joint in an xray.

Thank you! I figured there would be a more specific code to go with beside "other deformity", but I do agree with you. Thanks again!
