ICD10 has multiple codes for CAD, native vs bypass and w or w/o angina.
I am questioning what a coder can assume re angina.
pt comes in with a documented MI, NSTEMI or STEMI, is taken to the cath lab and CAD is found.
Should the CAD code be listed as one of the w angina codes?
Would this always qualify as angina pectoris?
