Can anybody please tell me if mid levels (APNs or PAs) can perform and/or read ultrasounds and get reimbursed for them? Thanks:(

Not for Medicare. Other providers you'll have to check with individually. For Medicare you will need to separate the service into the PC & TC components. You bill the PC with a 26 modifier under the mid-level's NPI number and the TC under the doctor's NPI. The governments position is that the mid-level is an employee of the practice therefore does not own the equipment as is not eligible to bill for the technical component.
