Question.... Do you credential all mid-level providers with all insurance companies & list them as the rendering provider on claims? Or is the physician listed as the rendering & billing provider?
 
This would depend on the area you are in, and carrier protocol. In our area, some insurances credential mid level providers, others do not. Who you list as the provider on your claims depends on this information. You would need to contact the carriers to see what they require.
