Wiki Mini Open Rotator Cuff Repair

In an ASC setting, if the Dr performs arthroscopic glenohumeral debridement, acromioplast, distal clavicular resection and mini open rotator cuff repair, should I be adding DX code V64.43 to indicate arthroscopic procedure converted to open? Or does this not apply in this situation?

Without the op note to see exactly what your physician states on why he did a mini open, I can not answer that question.

Doc states he did arthoscopic debnridement, ritht glenohumeral joint, and arthreoscopic acromioplasty, rt shoulder, and a mini open right rotator cuff repair. I need to know if a mini rotator cuff repair includes the other procedures.
