Do you refund Medicare if there is no discharge summary in the medical records or it is incomplete? Or is it just a finding that you do not touch the reimbursement but the account is not compliant? Please let me know if you need the discharge summary to be included and complete in order for a visit to be billable (UB04) and reimbursable? :confused:
