Does the managed care insurance follow the same timely filing requirements as Medicare? (one year from date of service). If so, were can I find this documented?

NO they don't - that would be too easy for us. You have to check each carriers guidelines on claims submission. Anthem states "per physician contract" but is usually a year. Humana goes by Medicare
