Hi,
I know CPT 64623 is an add-on code for each level...this is a "Unilateral" code.. If the provider performs this procedure Left side one day 1, then brings pt back next day or 2 and bills it again for RT side.... Mod-50 applies??
Or does mod-50 apply only if performed on the same day... Cpt reads if this is performed on both sides of the body, append mod-50 with the code.. It does not say if this is performed on both sides of the body on the same day or different day, then append mod 50...
I understand it to read if is done on same day then append mod-50, if is performed on different days then do not append mod-50.... Help???
