In a facility setting in State of GA and payer is Medicare can Mod XU or which Mod would be appropriate when there is an edit between 88184 (Flow 1st marker) and 88342 (First IHC) : misuse of column two code with column one. But Mod is allowed. Any assistance will be appreciated.
 
Have you checked the Medicare PTP - it's updated quarterly, and is posted for both Facility and Profee CCI Edits. Sometimes the edits do not match for Facility and Profee. (Link: MCR PTP) And/or the NCCI Policy Manual. (Link: NCCI Policy Manual)
I don't work with lab charges, so I don't have much more than that to offer.
