Wiki Modifer 59 -our practice sometimes

Can I attache Mod 59 to 90847 so I can bill it on the same day as 90862. In our practice sometimes the client sees the Theripist and The Dr. on the same day and EDS will not pay 90862 when billed on the same day.

If you are billing for seperate providers using seperate NPIs wouldn't it be seperatly payable?

90862 billing

Ct Medicaid will not pay when billing out 90862 on the same day as 90847 or 90806 even though one is a therapist and one is a Psychiatrist. We are trying to figure out how to bill this properly to get paid by EDS
