coding for dx- Left chest wall lipoma
Procedure-Excision of left chest wall lipoma(5x4 cm)

I coded this 21931/LT dx-D17.1-

I was being audited-and I was taken points off for placing the LT modifier-

I was told that the LT modifier was not appropirate.

Could anyone else let me know that this was audited correctly?
