Does anyone know when coding 19307 for Modified Radical Mastectomy if I can bill out 38500 with 58 modifier- sentinel lymph node biopsy and dermal inj.for identification of nodes or not? PLEASE is anyone able to help me out? TIA

Why would you put a 58 modifier on it? If anything, use a 59 modifier but I don't think you can bill for it. A MRM, 19307, includes the dissection of the axillary lymph nodes. You may be able to bill for the injection of the blue dye but I would check the CCI edits on the Medicare website first.
