We recently had an outside Auditor review our surgeries. They stated that for the Robotic surgery assists we should be using modifier 22. Has anyone used this?

If you're talking about use of the da Vinci system or something similar

We were informed to use the laproscopic procedure code, and no additional reimbursement would be provided. There is a number at the end of this as well.
