Hello, I have a case that the patient had a cholecystectomy and then, while still in the 90 day global period, the patient was seen for an enlarged lymph node...coded as: 99214-24 dx 785.6 ...Medicaid is denying this stating it is global! Totally different issue, attached the -24 mod to express this...
We are getting quite a few denials like this for some reason from Medicaid.
Just want to make sure I am in the right for appealing this and I am not missing something...
Any feedback is appreciated!:)
