Are your docs charging for OV on day of chemo with modifier 25? If not, how are you scheudling your patients for OV and chemo - seperate days? How often? thanks

Yes, we charge for E/M services on the same day as chemo. Just add modifier 25 and you should be fine.

My physicians also see patients on the same day of chemo. In order the bill correctly the office visit must be a separate identifiable service apart from the chemotherapy and then you can use the 25 modifier.
