It depend, If you billed it once then yes, if you list the code and append -50 to the second line then no.

Modifier 50 should always be billed as one line with the 50 never two lines. The charge on the claim is the charge tied to your fee schedule for the CPT code not tied to the modifier. The modifier communicates to the payer to pay you 150% of the negotiated rate. Therefore you always bill with only 1 unit and the single code charge. If you bill with with 2 lines as suggested most payers pay for 3 procedures not 2 which is incorrect. If the payer does not accept single line billing for bilateral the you bill one line with RT and the second line with LT.
