Wiki Modifier 52

When using a modifier 52 for reduced billing on a procedure how much should you reduce the price? Example: billing 27468-52 for poly exchange only is there a set % that should be reduced or do you bill the regular fee and they figure it out?

I don't reduce my price at all. I let the carrier do it based on the modifier, and funny thing...sometimes they DON'T reduce it!!
