can someone help me understand how can I know which modifier goes first and if they can go together.
Doctor initially attempted to performed an interlaminar lumbar epidural steroid injection 62323 , decicion was made to abort procedure by interlaminar approach and proceed with a transforaminal epidural injection 64483. Coded as 62323-53 and 64483 . 62323 got paid.
Do I need to add 59 to 62323 or 64483?
