I'm not sure how I would get paid for this office visit:
patient had office visit on 2/12 for two fibromas on right heel, decision was made for surgery to remove, surgery set for 2/18. On 2/17 patient's mother has office visit with same doctor and brings son (patient who is having surgery on 2/18) because he now has fibroma on left heel and mom wants to know if patient can have all removed on 2/18. doctor examines patient's left foot and determines that he'll need it removed but cannot do it on 2/18 and will come back after right heel is healed. How do we get paid for 2/17 office visit because it was a decision for surgery but not for the surgery that was already scheduled for the following day?
Maybe it's not confusing and I'm overthinking, that's always a possibility with me!
