We have not been putting on modifier 59 on add on codes (for example 96361) and we see that CMS has changed that a modifier 59 is allowed as of 04-2016. Have others seen this change and is there documentation from CMS? Thank you, Teresa

Hello, did you find out anything more on this? I haven't been charging/coding for a few months but was told they are getting claim edits back on the 96361 and 96366. I have not seen the edits to know what these codes were hitting against. Thanks!
