I have a patient that was seen, and was referred for cataract surgery. Testing preformed was OCT-Mac and ONH. Can both tests be sent in with a different diagnosis and append modifier 59 to the ONH?
 
No, you can not bill both same day. Usually pick the one that most affected treatment. I don't have the exact reference to site here off the top of my head. I know AAO has something written but your payer policies will have similar as well.
