Wiki Modifier 78 and 79 used together?

Medicare patient had cataract surgery on both eyes (different dates). Patient is in post op care for both eyes. Patient has YAG procedure performed on second eye. When billing the YAG on the "second" eye, can I use modifiers 78 and 79 together to indicate unplanned return for the "same" eye and unrelated surgery for the "other" eye? Thanks.
 
Yes, you would use 79 for a procedure on the different eye, and 78 for the procedure on the eye in which you are in the global if that second procedure was unexpected and not planned at the time of the initial procedure.
