I actually did a lot of reading on this yesterday afternoon, as long as the Public Health Emergency is still in effect then Yes, we still need to be using Modifier 95. The Public Health Emergency is currently set to expire October 31,2021 but I am sure that is going to change with the new covid variant and cases on the rise.

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. If we bill 99212 with modifier 95 and have a place of service of 11 (office) if we change place of service to 02, do we still use the 95 modifier?

Its going to depend on the payer. You might want to look at each payers telemedicine/telehealth policy.
