I've never had this happen before, but:

Physician A attempts a colo at our ASC. She has to terminate the procedure because the patient became combative. She sent him to have a repeat procedure done under MAC as an outpatient at one of the area hospitals by the rounding partner. I'm thinking modifier 77?

I would use -53 for the first doctor. Since the procedure was terminated, I don't think you need a modifier for the doctor that did the procedure under MAC, but keep in mind that physicians of the same specialty in the same group practice are considered the same physician, so if you did need a modifier for the second doctor it would be -76. I still don't see this as repeat since it was never completed.
