what modifier goes on first nebulization of several after another procedure uses the 25? I think its 59 but not sure.

Pressurized or nonpressurized inhalation treatment for acute airway obstruction or for sputum induction for diagnostic purposes (eg, with an aerosol generator, nebulizer, metered dose inhaler or intermittent positive pressure breathing [IPPB] device)
Notes:
(For more than 1 inhalation treatment performed on the same date, append modifier 76)

There is a MUE on the neb treatment of 4 per day.

There shouldn't be a need for a -59 modifier because the neb and inj are inherently two completely different routes and would not hit an NCCI edit. Have you had trouble getting this paid in the past without a mod?

I don't know if it gets paid or not, all I do is code. I don't get results of my coding, I wish I did. So, no 59 on 1st neb?
 
I'm thinking back to when I did coding for nebulizers and I want to say I DID add a 59 mod to the first 94640 if there was a 96372 involved.
