Can anyone help me figure out what would be the correct anesthesia modifier for a physician with two concurrent cases; one with a resident and the other with a SRNA? I'm having trouble finding an example of this situation. Thanks in advance for any help.

Thank you for responding but I'm still confused. If the modifier is AA how can there be a concurrent case with a QK? I may be overthinking this.

QK is the modifier you would use for the anesthesiologist; this is for medical direction of 2, 3 or 4 concurrent procedures involving qualified individuals

GC is the modifier you would use for the resident and/or SRNA; this is for the resident and/or SRNA under direction of a teaching physician

AA would be used if the teaching physician was directing one resident or SRNA.
