Hello Everyone,

we are family practice and internal medicine but recently we have started billing 99250 with modifier TC but our provider are not reveiwing the fundus photography. we are just using our equipments and get order from out side provider. so are we billing correctly using modifier TC or do we have to use modifier 26.
please help. thank you :)

sorry its 92250 ( fundus photography)
 
Use modifier 26 when a physician interprets but does not perform the test.

Use modifier TC when the physician performs the test but does not do the interpretation.

If the physician both performs the test and interprets it, there is no modifier.
