Wiki Modifier 'TS' for trauma centers

Good afternoon,

Has anyone heard of modifier TS for trauma centers? My doctors claim this will allow them additional reimbursement when services were rendered in the ER in a trauma center I or II hospital. This is for the professional fees. I haven't been able to find anything concrete from CMS and the NJ Dept. of banking and insurance article confuses me even more. Does anyone know how much more is the additional reimbursement? Any feedback will be appreciated.

THeres a code for the facility for trauma activation but nothing for physicians that i can think if. If there is, it wouldn't be TS as its for Diabetes screening to override a benefit limit.
